Northshore’s OHANA PIER ANNOUNCES 1ST ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE BANDS

BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Ohana Pier, Slidell’s premiere teen hangout, is excited to announce their 1st annual Battle of the Bands. Starting at 6pm on Saturday, July 31st, the Battle of the Bands will feature the talents of seven local teen bands going head to head in a contest whose winner will receive a cash prize of $500.00 as well as a professional recording session.

Ohana Pier’s Battle of the Band line-up will include Rural Route 9, Embrace the Abyss, Jones Unleashed, Oh! The Moment, Sound Tree, The Chasing and Yellow Light Accelerators. Each band will be judged on content, use of time, originality, musical ability and crowd participation. Ticket prices are $5.00 and can be purchased in advance or at the door the day of the concert at Ohana Pier.
